Dear Bernese enthusiast,

Please be informed that all members of your club and the Bernese community in your country are invited to our Ruby Jubilee event next year. The event stretches over several days and details are as below. Please spread this invitation to members of your club and anyone else you feel may be interested.

I apologise but it seems a previous invitation was not delivered so please could you acknowledge this one has arrived.

Subject to a few essential arrangements exhibitors will be able to compete in the show with their dogs as long as they conform to the Pet Passport scheme and are registered with a Kennel Club recognised by the British Kennel Club.

Part of our big 40th year will be a special edition of our annual handbook which goes all over the BMD world every year. Other BMD clubs are invited to contribute a message or greeting to our club to be published in this book, your message can be whatever you like and can include your club logo if you wish. However, due to the failure of the earlier message, time is now a little short so if your club wishes to feature please do not delay in contacting us.

People who wish to are welcome to take a page in our book at this year’s special reduced rate of just €40, details are on our web site. A typical page will have a photo of your dogs and some details of them and some contact details. Some people advertise show wins or working success with their dogs but other people just use it to basically say” these are our lovely Bernese” It is a chance to show off your dogs all over the world.

The event will be held in the centre of England with good motorway and airport links and close to the several tourist attractions like Stratford upon Avon, the centre of the “Shakespeare industry”, and also Warwick Castle a magnificently preserved mediaeval castle.
